We organize luxury equestrian holidays in collaboration with Hotel Herberg D'n Dries.
My Shires and the luxurious rooms of the hotel and one of the most beautiful nature reserves in the Netherlands, the Loonse and Drunense dunes with its 120 km of riding trails, a nice combination for a wonderful riding holiday.
The Shires are stabled a stone's throw from Hotel Herberg D'n Dries
The hotel has single and double rooms and rooms for three or four people.
All hotel rooms are luxurious and spacious, have comfortable beds, air conditioning, a seating area and private bathroom, TV and free Wi-Fi. Guests can make tea or coffee in every room.
WEEKEND PACKAGE on a bed/breakfast basis.
On Friday afternoon we expect you at the stable around 2 p.m. and we will introduce you to the Shires and take a tour of the stables and the grounds. After checking in at the hotel, the evening is free to spend at your leisure. The hotel has a good restaurant where you can sit by the wood stove or on the terrace when the weather is nice.
The weekend package consists of 2 overnight stays on a bed/breakfast basis in total
ride your horse for 7 hours.
If you would like to help with the care of the Shires and their living environment during these days, we would of course like that. But doing nothing and driving alone is also fine!
On Saturday your first ride is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, after lunch the afternoon ride is from 2:15 PM to 3:45 PM.
On Sunday morning you will take off after breakfast for a trip from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. After lunch you will make the last trip of this weekend at your Shire starting time 2.15 pm and you will be back at 5.45 am.
The weekend package lasts until 4:30 PM.
PACKAGE DURING THE WEEK on a bed/breakfast basis - can be booked from 2 people.
We expect you at the stable on Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. and we will introduce you to the Shires and take a tour of the stables and the grounds. After checking in at the hotel, the evening is free to spend at your leisure. The hotel has a good restaurant where you can sit by the wood stove or on the terrace when the weather is nice.
The package consists of 2 overnight stays on a bed/breakfast basis and a total of 5 hours of horse riding.
If you would like to help care for the Shires and their habitat during these days, then please do so
of course we enjoy it. But doing nothing and driving alone is also fine!
You will ride the first ride on Thursday morning from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. At the beginning of the afternoon you will be back at the hotel and you can plan the day yourself.
We ride on Friday morning from 10am to 12pm.
This package ends on Friday afternoon at 1 p.m.
